Web design & CRO

Websites that earn. Landing pages that convert.

A 0.8% conversion rate hides a thousand problems a prettier header won't fix. DDX runs research-led CRO programs and ships landing pages, funnels and sites engineered around how your buyers actually decide.

What's included

Research-led. Experiment-driven. Revenue-accountable.

High-converting landing pages

Paired to each paid-acquisition campaign. Built for speed, clarity and a single conversion action. Typically 2–4× the baseline conversion rate of "homepage as landing page".

Funnel & checkout optimisation

Multi-step lead forms, application funnels, ecommerce checkout flows. Friction audits tied to session replay, analytics and customer interviews.

CRO research program

Heatmaps, session replay, user interviews, post-purchase surveys, copy testing. We don't guess what to test — we know.

Experimentation at velocity

4–8 statistically meaningful experiments per month depending on traffic. All hypotheses logged. All results documented. A library of learnings that compounds.

Full website design & build

Static sites (Astro, Eleventy), Webflow, Shopify, Framer and headless stacks. SEO-first architecture baked in.

Performance & Core Web Vitals

LCP <2.0s, CLS <0.05, INP <200ms. Performance is a conversion lever, not just a ranking one.

Accessibility & WCAG 2.2 AA

Shipped by default. It's right, and it widens your addressable market.

Analytics & tracking

GA4, server-side GTM, CRM attribution, ecommerce event plumbing. A site that converts and measures properly.

How it works

The DDX CRO program.

1

Research

Analytics, session replay, heuristic audit, customer interviews. We isolate the highest-leverage friction points.

2

Hypothesise

A prioritised experiment roadmap — PXL-scored, tied to expected lift, sequenced for fast learning.

3

Design & ship

Designers, devs and copywriters work in the same room. Experiments shipped in days, not months.

4

Learn & compound

Every result — win, loss or flat — goes into a structured library that informs the next test and the one after.

Questions

Web & CRO FAQs

Do we need a full site rebuild, or just landing pages?

Usually just landing pages to start. A full rebuild only makes sense once we've validated which pages, layouts and messages convert. We'd rather earn a rebuild than sell you one.

How much traffic do we need for CRO to be worth it?

Rough rule: 10,000 monthly sessions on the page being tested, or 1,000 conversions/month site-wide. Below that, we focus on structural work (speed, clarity, IA, messaging) rather than formal A/B tests.

Can you integrate with our dev team?

Yes. We work alongside in-house engineering on everything from simple experiments (via GTM or Optimizely) to full component-library builds. Your devs stay in control of shipping.

What platforms do you build on?

For new builds: Astro, Eleventy or Next.js for maximum speed; Webflow or Framer for marketing sites; Shopify for ecommerce. For existing sites, we work in your stack — we're not here to sell you a migration.
